You can now link a BBM contact with a contact in the Contacts (Address Book) app. When you have a linked contact between BBM and your Contacts (Address Book), you may be able to perform additional tasks using BlackBerry Messenger.
For example, during a chat, you may be able to quickly call or send an email message to the same contact from the BlackBerry Messenger menu as per the screenshot below instead of having to open the Contacts (Address Book) app. If a contact does not have a display picture in their BBM profile, the profile picture from their Contacts application will appear in BBM instead.
To link a BBM contact with an address book contact, complete the following steps:
1.Open BBM and highlight a contact
2. Press the Menu key and select Link with BlackBerry® Contact
If the contact is in the Contacts app already, click Select Contact
If the contact is not in the Contacts app, click New Contact and enter the user’s contact information
To unlink a contact, complete the following steps:
1.Open BBM and highlight a contact
2. Press the Menu key and select Remove Link with BlackBerry Contact
BBM provides you with a few ways to back up and restore your BBM information, which can include your contacts, profile, and group membership. By default, BBM saves a backup file of your BBM information to your smartphone when your contact list changes.
However, you can save a backup file to your smartphone or media card manually at any time. You may also be able to set BBM to automatically back up and restore your contact list over the wireless network to a BBM server that is operated by or on behalf of Research In Motion® (RIM®) (this is my preferred method).
After you’ve set up all your various accounts, you’ll notice that the same person, if they appear in multiple accounts, will be automatically merged together. If a contact with multiple entries doesn’t merge, you can manually link them together using the following tip:
Open the Contacts app
Tap and hold a contact you’d like to link together, e.g. Ty
Tap Select More
Tap the other contact you’d like to link, e.g. Ty Williams
OS 7 Beautiful Clown Anemonefish that live among anemone species for the home aquarium affordable now on your Blackberry device by Clown Fish Theme in the shallow waters of coral
Ever since the movie, Finding Nemo, people have been going crazy for clown fish. Check out these facts on one of the ocean's coolest creatures.
There are 28 species of clown fish. They are orange, yellow, maroon and many other colors. The most common clown fish - and the one that looks most like Nemo - is the percula clown fish which is bright orange with white stripes. Clown fish are between two and five inches long.
Clown fish and anemones hang out all the time and help each other out. Anemones are fish-eating animals that look like underwater flowers and have hundreds of poisonous tentacles. Clown fish find most of their food by mooching off the anemone. Clown fish wait until the anemone paralyzes and eats a fish, then helps itself to the bits which the anemone doesn't eat. Clown fish avoid being harmed by the anemones by swimming a funky dance around the anemone's poisonous tentacles. Clowns allow the tentacles to graze their bodies until they build up an immunity to the poison. In exchange for getting food from the anemones, the clown fish clean the anemones by eating dead tentacles. Clowns also protect anemones from predators.
