In order to use this feature, you must have linked a BlackBerry Messenger contact with a contact that has a phone number in the Contacts app on your BlackBerry smartphone. In the screenshot below, you can see how a contact that uses text messaging appears while using BlackBerry Messenger.

To be able to text message a BBM contact that is linked to your address book, complete the following steps:

1.Open BBM, press the Menu key and select Options

2. Select the Show Text Messages From Contacts Linked with BlackBerry Contacts checkbox

3. Press the Menu key and select Save

However, you can save a backup file to your smartphone or media card manually at any time. You may also be able to set BBM to automatically back up and restore your contact list over the wireless network to a BBM server that is operated by or on behalf of Research In Motion® (RIM®) (this is my preferred method).

If you do not want to see music status updates from your contacts in your BBM Updates listing, you can turn this feature off by opening the Settings screen and changing Music Status Updates to Off.

• To insert current date, type ld and hit SPACE

• To insert current time, type lt and hit SPACE

• To end a sentence with period, hit SPACE twice

• Set up abbreviations for common phrases at: Options | Auto Text

• When watching video, hit SYM to toggle full screen mode

• To reboot Blackberry without taking out battery, simultaneously press ALT, SHIFT (the right bottom one) and DEL

• To display system log, press and hold ALT while typing lglg. However, I must admit I don't know what to do with the log content

Clown fish and anemones hang out all the time and help each other out. Anemones are fish-eating animals that look like underwater flowers and have hundreds of poisonous tentacles. Clown fish find most of their food by mooching off the anemone. Clown fish wait until the anemone paralyzes and eats a fish, then helps itself to the bits which the anemone doesn't eat. Clown fish avoid being harmed by the anemones by swimming a funky dance around the anemone's poisonous tentacles. Clowns allow the tentacles to graze their bodies until they build up an immunity to the poison. In exchange for getting food from the anemones, the clown fish clean the anemones by eating dead tentacles. Clowns also protect anemones from predators.

To close unused apps:

Press and hold the Menu button to open the app switcher

Highlight and select the app you want to close

When in the app, press the Menu button again then exit (shutdown, logout) the app
